Board of Appeals
About Us
The Board of Appeals is appointed by the Board of Selectmen for three year terms, each ending in successive years. The Board is responsible for:
- Receiving Applications for Variance
- Managing the Application Process for Comprehensive Permits under Chapter 40B, Massachusetts General Laws (Affordable Housing and Senior Housing)
- Scheduling and conducting Public Hearings
- Making determinations on Appeals
- Complying with Massachusetts General Laws about Zoning and the Zoning Appeals Process
