MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING –   August 30, 2021 5:00 PM

Selectmen Present:   Steven DellaGiustina, Patrick Barrett and Eric R. Munson, Jr via phone

Also Present:   Ed Deming

                         Pat Storey

Steve signed grant documentation to retain services of the commission staff to perform Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) planning and Hazard Mitigation Plan update services. Tolland will enter into a contract with Pioneer Valley Planning to work on Tolland’s MVP planning process combined with an update of the Town’s Hazard Mitigation plan.

Planning Board Chairman, Jim Deming requested the Selectboard appoint Arend Overbeeke to fill the remained of Kathy Cowles Planning Board member term. Kathy Cowles will be appointed to serve as the Planning Board alternate. Steve made a motion and agreed to the request, seconded by Patrick, voted unanimously.

Selectboard received a letter from Sue-Ann Faucher of Burt Hill Road expressing concerns with an event that was held at 1043 Burt Hill Road. The letter was taken under advisement and the issue will be discussed with the Planning Board.
