Board of Selectmen Minutes

MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING –   December 7, 2020 5:00 PM

Selectmen Present:   Steven DellaGiustina, Patrick Barrett and Eric R. Munson, Jr(via phone)

Also Present:   Mira Munson (via phone)

                        Ed Deming

Police Chief Deming requested $2,075.00 from the Reserve Fund. The monies are to cover detail payroll that Eversource declined. The Officers were located on down powerlines during the August 4th storm. Chief removed the officers from the lines before Eversource arrived causing no proof. Policy moving forward will be not to remove an Officer until Eversource arrives.

Cathy made a motion to transfer funds, seconded by Pat Story. Pass unanimously.

David Pickhardt expressed his concerns with the road condition of Schoolhouse Road. He felt that the road needed to be graded more often. Ed explained with the ongoing broadband trenching work that is taking place it would be unproductive. DPW will grade the road one final time before the road freezes.
