MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – November 9, 2020 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, JR, Steven DellaGiustina and Patrick Barrett
Also Present:
Selectboard voted to use the pay rate of the DPW Foreman, $25.14/hrly as the COVID19 wage rate.
A stipend for the Emergency Management Director will be included in the FY2022 budget.
The Selectboard discussed guidelines for the Senior Work Off program. One requirement discussed is the financial need and how the senior would show they qualify. The topic will be an article for the Annual Town Meeting.
The board hasn’t heard anything from the Town of Sandisfield since their joint meeting On August 26th regarding Ambulance service for the Town of Tolland. Eric made a motion to move forward with a “pay per call” service in the amount of $450/call. Fire Chief Munson will forward a call list to the Treasurer to process payment. Steve will speak with the Fire Chief on the process. Seconded by Patrick. Voted unanimously.
