Board of Selectmen Minutes
Board of Selectmen
Town of Tolland
MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – July 13, 2020 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Steven DellaGiustina, Patrick Barrett and Eric R. Munson, JR
Also Present: Ed Deming
Discussed driveway permits. Ed assured the board that he visits the property and voices requirements before a permit is issued.
Sue Voudren submitted a possible solution to resolve boards and departments holding meetings remotely and being able to meet the requirement for signatures.
“The Board of Selectmen can vote at their meeting to only have one signature at this time for meeting minutes and that being the Chairperson. Minutes still need to list the names of the board members present and in addition they have to take a “roll call” vote and this must be entered into the minutes which would be a notation of how each member votes.”
Steve made motion to accept Sue’s recommendation, Patrick seconded voted unanimously.
Ed interviewed police Officers for the position of “Reserve Officers” and would like to move forward with appointing them. The Board of Selectmen would like to speak with each of them at their next meeting on July 25th.
