Robert Bitso questioned why he has seen the Tolland police cruiser more than once out of town. Eric and Patrick felt that the cruiser should only leave town if it’s for business. The Police Chief will be informed of the question.

Eric Munson, III, Fire Chief presented the 2021 Fire Department budget. Budget request is in the amount of $43,103.00 which is an increase of $5,080.00 over last year. The increase is due to the request of new equipment. Eric requested replacement of 3 or 4 air packs. The current air packs were donated used from several years ago. Eric would like to put air pack replacement on a rotation so they don’t expire all at the same time. The cost of 3 air packs is $28,665.00 or 4 at $38,220.00.

Eric was asked his opinion of the repeater that was request by the Police Chief. It had been stated that the Fire Department is on a different frequency then police. Eric suggested trying a cruiser mounted repeater. With doing that the officer would have to request dispatch to switch towers when being used.

Meeting adjourned at 7:00PM

Respectfully submitted,
