MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING –  June 17, 2019 5:00 PM

Wayne and Joanne Simeone of Hartland Road expressed concerns with the timing of applying the product “Safe-Bind” on the section of Hartland Road in front of their home. Wayne requested that DPW schedule a window of time where the product can be applied. Ed stated that it is a timely process with getting the materials and equipment ready and then disassembling and cleaning. The Selectboard requested Ed schedule to apply the product within the first week of the months of July, August and September.

John Velis is meeting with all the Select boards in the Second Hampden/Hampshire Senatorial District.  John is currently the State Representative for Westfield, but when he runs for the Senate seat he will be representing Granville and Tolland.

Pat Storey submitted the STRAP Grant Contract for signatures.

Pat spoke with Marc LeVasseur, of Foresight Land Services and was informed that Foresight will be submitting a plan to the state engineers for review. Pat stated that if the state comes back with more changes that we may have to look into other options.

Board of Selectmen met Police Officer applicants Ian Curtiss and Robert Hoynoski. Both applicants were requested to have a physical.
