MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – March 11, 2019 5:00 PM

Board of Selectmen agreed to a PILOT payment of $36,307/year for a solar array to be located at 228 Clubhouse Road. The calculation was based on a 20 year average with assumptions with an
Original cost estimate of 1.5 million per mega watt.
CVE array to be 4.98 mega watts 10 year depreciation schedule with a use of value of 30% at the end of year 10
Tax rate will increase 3% each year of agreement
Once an agreement is received the Selectboard will forward to legal for an opinion.
Webmaster, Jessica would like the board to set policy for her to review and edit town announcements that are requested to be placed on “News and Notices”. If there are corrections other than grammar and wording the announcement will be returned.
Board of Selectmen will meet with Finance Committee and department heads (Fire Chief, Police Chief and Highway Superintendent on Monday, April 1st.
Ed notified the board of a grant that Pat Storey will be submitting for the purchase of new tri axle trucks. The Town of Tolland will have to match 20% of the grant if awarded.
