MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – January 14, 2019 5:00 PM

Dave and Ruth requesting an update on the storage for Council on Aging located at the PSC. Eric and Patrick will walk through the PSC to see if there is any available. Storage availability will be tabled for when all board members are present.
Council on Aging will allocate $6,500 for the air conditioner to be purchased and installed at the PSC.
Council on Aging requested that Tolland offer for seniors a “Senior Work off Program”. Dave felt that it should be as easy as a senior requesting assistant. Patrick stated that guidelines are required for the program. Patrick will look into the program for Tolland.
Cynthia Ashly resigned as Tolland’s Outreach Worker as of February 5th. Council on Aging will discuss the options for replacement at their next meeting.
Ed accepted the resignation of Officer Christopher Driscoll. Ed will advertise for an officer. Ed needs to fill 2 positions.
Ed informed the board that there may be an issue with the septic tank located at the DPW. The tank has been pumped multiple times in a short period of time. Mount Everett will be contacted to evaluate the tank.
Foresight has been scheduled to meet with Board of Selectmen on Monday, February 11th at 5PM.
