MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING –  December 3, 2018 5:00 PM

Selectmen Present:   Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Patrick Barrett                                                                 

Also Present:      Jessica Kelmelis (via phone)                                            

Jessica Kelmelis spoke with the Board on behalf of the Board of Assessors in reference to the proposed solar array for 228 Clubhouse Road. She presented a cost study which arrived at a proposed annual payment from CVE of $36,453. The Board of Assessors has approved the proposed tax agreement. The Board of Selectmen unanimously agreed to the proposal. Jessica will send the information back to CVE so that they can devise a proposed contract which will then be sent to town council for approval. After that, a special town meeting will be scheduled for the town to vote on the agreement.

Selectboard received an unsigned letter with matters of concern on a property located on Ona Road. The concerns are not a matter for the Board of Selectmen but a matter for the Conservation Commission which address’s wetlands.

Steve and Eric attended the first roundtable meeting at the STGRSD to start discussing the 2020 school budget.

Eric attended A Westfield Watershed FEMA Discovery Meeting.
