STGRSD School Campus Closed To Public During School Hours
School Campus Closed to the Public During School Hours (7:30 am – 4:00 pm).
Officials from the Southwick Police Department, Southwick Fire Department, the Town of
Southwick and the Southwick-Tolland-Granville Regional School District (STGRSD) have come to
an agreement that ALL school grounds will be closed to the general public during school hours,
7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., when school is in session. This closure includes the STGRSD track, fields
and playgrounds.
Beginning on October 17, 2022, signs will be posted at all access points in and around the entire
campus, and violators will be trespassed from the STGRSD property. Participants and spectators
for approved events will be permitted.
Limiting public access to the school campus during the school day is being done to improve | ||
safety for the entire staff and student body on the STGRSD preK-12 school campus. In | ||
accordance with established safety procedures, visitors to any of the school buildings must | ||
register at the main school office. | ||
We understand the STGRSD track is very popular for exercise. Please remember that Whalley Park and the rail trail are available to all members of the public for walking and exercising.
