A Reminder about Absentee Ballots

From the office of Tolland Town Clerk
At this time, the State Special Election scheduled for March 31st is still on. Remember that absentee ballots can be requested online or applications may be dropped at the Town Hall in the mail slot on the door facing Route 57. There will be absentee ballot request forms in the Library drop box as well. If you are voting by mail, you should be sure to submit your application in a timely manner. Please allow enough time for the ballot to be mailed to you and for you to return the ballot by Election Day. All ballots being mailed from inside the United States must be received by your local election official no later than the close of polls on Election Day. The absentee ballot can’t be dropped in the Town Hall front door mail slot; it must be mailed so that it has an official postmark.
