Message from the Office of the Town Clerk: Dog Licensing and Street Cencus

ANNUAL STREET CENSUS

The Annual Street Census was sent to every household in January as required by M.G.L.  Sign and return even if there are no changes.

Failure to sign and return this form will result in removal from the active voters list.

Once removed to the inactive list you will be asked the next time you vote to show a photo ID or other proof of residency in the Town of Tolland.

Someone can’t be removed from the street census if they are a registered voter.  A signed letter is required from the registered voter for removal.

You can’t change your Political Party on the street census.  You must put in a registration change. You can find links to registering to vote and/or changing your information on the town website on the Town Clerk’s page.

ANNUAL DOG LICENSING

Regarding dog licensing:

In January all households received an envelope from the Office of the Town Clerk containing the Annual Street Census and Dog Licensing.

Current licenses expired Feb. 28, 2018.

All licenses received after March 11, 2018 will be considered late and there will be a $50.00 per household late fee added.

If you need another licensing form they can be downloaded from the website town clerk page and are available at the town hall during regular business hours.

All dogs and cats are required by the State of Massachusetts to be vaccinated for rabies and you must license any dog 6 months or older in the town where you reside
