On November 20 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM a SHINE (Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Everyone) Councilor will be available at the Sandisfield town hall in the COA room. SHINE counselors are familiar with Massachusetts' senior-care plans and are an excellent resource to help retirees and younger disabled Medicare beneficiaries maximize their Medicare coverage. They are community volunteers trained by the Massachusetts Office of Elder Affairs to provide unbiased and up-to-date health insurance information and advice. This service is particularly valuable if you are signing up for Medicare for the first time.
