Colebrook River Rd Bridge Replacement

COLEBROOK RIVER ROAD BRIDGE

The town of Tolland has received state grants to replace the 81 year old bridge on Colebrook River Rd where it passes over Cranberry Pond Brook (between Beetle Rd. and Rivers Rd.) This work will start soon and we anticipate closing the road at that point in January.  The closing will last five to six months, depending on the weather. More information will be posted on News and Notices and the Bulletin board at the Transfer Station once an actual date has been set.

Since we completed repaving Burt Hill Rd. this summer and it’s in very good shape, we suggest using that as a detour.

We realize this will be an inconvenience to some of our residents and ask for your patients while we replace this important part of Tolland’s infrastructure.
