ABSENTEE VOTING & EARLY VOTING FOR FEDERAL PRIMARY on MARCH 5, 2024

To vote by absentee ballot

As always you may request an absentee ballot for any election.  To be eligible for an absentee ballot:

You must be a registered voter who will be unable to vote at the polls on Election Day due to absence from the voter’s city or town during polling hours, disability, or religious beliefs.

The application may be completed by... • A registered voter; or • A voter’s family member (spouse, roommate, parent, sibling, child, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, grandparent, grandchild, in-law).

Request for Absentee Ballots are available online at

https://www.sec.state.ma.us/divisions/elections/download/absentee-ballot-applications/Absentee-Ballot-Application-English.pdf

Or you can pick up a form at the Town Hall during regular business hours.

To vote by early ballot

The Attorney General’s Election Office has started sending out postcards to everyone in the state who is registered to vote.  The postcard has the option to select what elections in 2024 you would like to receive an early ballot for, or you can choose all elections in 2024.  However, if you are registered to vote as “unenrolled” you must designate what party ballot you wish to receive for primaries.
