ORDER of BUSINESS:
Call to Order at 5 PM
Attendance – Mira Munson (via phone), Ted Locke, Cathy Parzych, Margaret McClellan, Pat Storey
Selectmen Present: Steven DellaGiustina, Patrick Barrett and Eric R. Munson, Jr (via phone)
New Business
Discussion of Eversource denial to reimburse Tolland for special detail Police Officers during the hurricane this fall and possible sources of funds to pay these costs.
Police Chief Deming requested $2,075.00 from the Reserve Fund. The monies are to cover detail payroll that Eversource declined. The Officers were located on down powerlines during the August 4th storm. Chief removed the officers from the lines before Eversource arrived causing no proof. Policy moving forward will be not to remove an Officer until Eversource arrives.
Cathy made a motion to transfer funds, seconded by Pat Storey. Pass unanimously
