Call to Order at 9:10
Attendance: Ruth Buchanan, Pat Storey, Ann Skibski, Dave Spidal: MaryAnn Deming Regrets: Mira Munson, Nina Greene, Jennifer Clark, Sally Munson
Review Minutes of Feb. 9, 2023 these minutes were reviewed and approved.
Treasurers Report & Budget Update – Attached. We are getting near our cap of state funds of $6000 on MaryAnn’s salary
Communications – none of substance
Review Chili Tasting – It was fairly well received. Pat Barrett won first prize. We hope to do it again next year.
Upcoming Events
Monday Morning Coffee is going well with attendance ranging from 6 to 14. There are several repeat attendees.
Yoga – Dave will send out an e-mail to previous attendees to gage interest in running this program again.We will make a decision at the May meeting. Connie would be willing to run the classes.
Old Business
Transportation – Review Program – four rides this month
Birthday Cards – 19 this month
Outreach Worker – report attached
New Business
Foot Nurse is available in Southwick for $40/visit. Southwick does not subsidize this program. The Otis foot nurse is retiring in December.
New Council Members – The board can have up to 10 members. There was a discussion of having honorary members but no decision was made.
It was decided to have our first lunch May 11 at noon. The menu will be grinders, potato salad, Entinimins minis, lemonade, and coffee. Ann said she would pick up the food.
Other – There was a discussion about inviting the Granville COA to our May meeting and lunch
