ORDER of BUSINESS:

Call to Order at 9:02

Attendance - Jean Armitage, Ruth Buchanan, Jennifer Clark, Ann Skibski, David Spidal, Patrick Storey, Mira Munson

Review of Minutes – The Jan 12 minutes were reviewed and unanimously approved.

Note – the Feb. 9, 2021 meeting was canceled because of the snow.

Treasurers Report & Budget Update The attached report was unanimously accepted.

     2022 Budget; Dave reported that the requested 2022 budget is the same as the current budget.

Communications – numerous items were circulated. We will be stuffing the newsletter after the next meeting.

Outreach Workers Report - Attached

      COVID Activity – Ann has been doing Yeoman’s work in contacting and assisting folks to get Vaccinated.

Upcoming Events

Concert on the Green - Aug. 21 – The Tijuana Brass band is our selection but we are still waiting to hear from cultural arts.

Old Business

Transportation – Review Program – 2 Rides this month

Birthday Cards – Status Update – 15 cards sent this month.

We reviewed the attached brochure for the Hampden County Sherriff’s TRIAD Project. Several programs might be of interest to some of the Seniors in Tolland and we will include a write up about them in the April newsletter.

New Business

Mercy Life Pace Program – Season Bryant and Kim ? from Mercy Life made a presentation about their Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). This program can provide nursing home type services in the home so a senior can stay in their home. You must be income eligible for it which is a problem for many Tolland folks. We will include information about it in the April newsletter.

Other – There was a discussion about the uncompensated hours Ann has been working during the pandemic. She was instructed that going forward to submit them for payment up to a limit of 19 hr. per week.
