ORDER of BUSINESS:

Call to Order at 9:05 AM

Attendance - Jean Armitage, Ruth Buchanan, Mira Munson, David Spidal, Jennifer Clark, Patrick Storey, Regrets Ann Skibski

Review of Minutes –The minutes of Feb.11, 2019 were unanimously approved

Treasurers Report & Budget Update – The attached treasurers report was unanimously approved.

Communications – Several items were discussed.

Upcoming Events

Monthly Lunches – Restart in MAY.

Yoga will run on Thursdays June 18 and 25. For July and August it will run on Mondays and Thursdays.

Spring Dinner – June 6 Dave to Check with Peter Sullivan to see if the Knox can do the cooking. It was suggested that we ask the Knox for menu ideas.

Old Business

Transportation – 2 rides

Birthday Cards – 17 sent

Outreach Worker – Report attached

Tax Work-off program – Dave will send a note to the Selectmen and try to get on their agenda.

Service Provider Reference list for seniors is making progress. The target date is to have it ready for the Spring mailing.

Seniors Survey – We decided not to do this but rather have targeted mailings for specific events.

Personal Care Attendants – There was a brief discussion of the state program for having people become Personal Care Attendants.

New Business

Other – We will do a targeted mailing for the monthly lunch program.

Jean will bring the graph showing the age of Tolland’s population to the all boards meeting.

Next month we will discuss the logistics of setting up the signs.
