Attending:  Jean Armitage, Ruth Buchanan, Jennifer Clark, Mira Munson, Ann Skibski, David Spidal (mid meeting)

September minutes accepted as presented.

Treasurer report accepted as presented.

 

Communications:

September is Emergency Preparedness month.

MA Senior Medicare Control availability.

Keys to Aging Well presentation by HVES in Hadley.

 

Birthday Lunch to be on hold after October.  Grinders, salad, cider in Oct.

 

Feisty Feast:  confirmed that mac+cheese on menu, set up at 4.

 

Flu Clinic:  Ann unable to reach coordinating person.  Has left messages x5.  Consider later date than end of September…10/5or19.

 

Yoga final report:  good attendance, our total cost: $83.

 

Outreach Report

  1. Reviewing all records from predecessor: verifying current residency in town using most recent town street listing and conferring with some current town residents.
  2. Interested in creation of service provider information such as plumbing, electric, personal care, etc.Put on October agenda.
  3. Doing presentation at today’s lunch re:Health Care Proxy, MOLST, etc.

 

Senior Tax Work-off program:  work with Selectman is not progressing.

 

NEW BUSINESS

  1. Concerns about non-functioning PSC ovens
  2. Selection of entertainers for 2020 Cultural Council applications:Bruce Mandell + Tim VanEgmond.
  3. Sand for Seniors program to be considered.
