ORDER of BUSINESS:
Call to Order At 9:05
Attendance - Ruth Buchanan, Jean Armitage, Jennifer Clark, Mira Munson, Pat Storey, Dave Spidal; Regrets Ann Skibski,
Review of Minutes – The July 9, 2019 minutes were approved, Mira Munson abstained.
Treasurers Report & Budget Update – The f/y 2019 budget is attached. Waiting on the town treasurer to issue the final account balances for Dave’s final treasurers report for f/y 2019
Communications – Several pieces were discussed.
Upcoming Events
Lunches; Sept. 10 & Oct. 8; For Sept Chile (Pat), Corn Muffins, Salad, cake and drinks (Ruth & Ann)
Yoga Mondays and Thursdays- Attendance report is attached; down from last year.
Feisty Fall Feast – Sept. 21. Meat loaf and medley of roasted fall vegies (Knox/ Pat to handle); Green salad and dressing, rolls and butter, cider and coffee (Ruth); Pumpkin Pie (Pat). Mira to check on kitchen help.
Stuff the envelopes for the Sept. 1 mailing and do the Feast signs on August 28 at 9 AM
Old Business
Transportation – Review Program – 4 rides
Birthday Cards – Status Update
Outreach Worker – Report attached.
New Business
Other – We discussed the Senior Tax work off program. The Selectman looking at it hasn’t done anything. To get this program in the budget for next year the COA will have to put the program together and present it to the Selectmen. Dave will try and get the forms in Word format so we can put them together to present the program.
The Towns e-mail system is under going a very difficult transition.
