Minutes, Conservation Commission, November 30, 2021
Pursuant to Chapter 131, Section 40 MGL, the Tolland Conservation Commission held a public hearings, November 30, 2021 beginning at 4:54 PM Tolland, MA . (The meeting was held via Zoom. Any interested party could participate by emailing the site (Conservation@tolland-ma.com) between November 25-29. Information on how to access the Zoom meeting was sent before the meeting.)

Engineering, Mark Stinson of Mass DEP
HEARING began at 5:00 PM
HEARINGS 1)NOI- Submitted by Paul & Tara Grenier- 125 Lands End Drive. Applicant seeks to rebuild a retaining wall within the buffer zone of Otis reservoir.Mark Reed made presentation: Will use small excavator working from bank to move and place rocks, both from fallen wall and new to be trucked in, utilizing both large rocks and small rocks. Straw waddles to be placed in reservoir bottom. Have Chapter 91, but it does not show a wall. Need to update this information. Issue regarding the ownership of wall area and the need for DCR approval/authorization Need authorization from DCR before documents can be prepared.Hearing continued to December 22 at 5:00 PM 2)RDA- Submitted by Rob Rosenberg of 89 Lakeview Rd. Applicant seeks to install a rock retaining wall and raise the grade within the buffer zone of Otis reservoir.(Withdrawn)
