Conservation Commission Minutes August 31, 2023

 

Pursuant to Chapter 131, Section 40 MGL, the Tolland Conservation Commission will hold public hearings August 31, 2023 beginning at 4:00 PM via Zoom, Tolland, MA for the following purposes:

The meeting will be held via Zoom. Any interested party that would like to participate should email the site (Conservation@tolland-ma.com) between August 28 - 30 and they will be sent a link for the Zoom meeting.

HEARINGS BEGAN 4:00HEARINGS   1)      RDA – Submitted by Kevin McCall of 74 Pinewood Drive. Applicant seeks to remove 4 dead trees within 100 feet of Otis Reservoir. A unanimous negative determination was issued. RDA 2023-06

New Business

 

1)      RDA – Submitted by Senta and Walter Stich of 111 Lakeside Drive. Applicant seeks to remove 2 Hemlock trees infected with wooly adelgid within 100 feet of Otis Reservoir. A unanimous negative determination was issued. RDA 2023-07 
  1. RDA – Submitted by Edwin Hudson of 207 Lakeside Drive. Applicant seeks to remove a birch tree hanging over a staircase within 100 feet of Otis Reservoir. A unanimous negative decision was issued. RDA 2023-08
 2)      RDA- Submitted by Mark and Kristen Gryminski of 189 Lands End Drive. Applicant seeks to install a curtain drain and infiltrator system within 100 feet of Otis Reservoir. A unanimous negative decision was issued. Contractor will use straw waddle for erosion control. RDA 2023-09
