Pursuant to Chapter 131, Section 40 MGL, the Tolland Conservation Commission held public hearings September 20, 2018 2018 beginning at 2:30 PM at Tolland Town Hall, 241 West Granville Rd, Tolland, MA         

Conservation Commission Members Present: Alan Binder, Valerie Bird,

Others:  Bill Walker, Sandy Pancrazzi, Ed Deming

  1. Scott Burghoff, 293 Beetle Rd, Applicant seeks to remove a tree within the buffer zone of Cranberry Pond. RDA # 2018-07  Unanimous vote for a negative determination. Approved 1 tree removed, 85' from bank of Cranberry pond
  2. Karen Delvecchio, 22 Crow, Applicant seeks to remove trees within the buffer zone of Cranberry Pond. RDA # 2018-08  Unanimous vote for a negative determination. Approved. Tree removal buffer zone of Cranberry Pond
  3.  Sandy Pancrazzi, 13 Lakeside Dr, Applicant seeks to build a deck beyond 50 feet but within the buffer zone of Cranberry Pond. RDA # 2018-09  Unanimous vote for a negative determination.  Approved. Small deck on side of house
  4.  Kathleen Marshall, 23 Lakeside, Applicant seeks to remove trees in buffer zone of Cranberry Pond.. RDA # 2018-10  Unanimous vote for a negative determination.Approved Tree removal in Buffer Zone of Cranberry Pond
  5.  Kollol Pol, 37 Lakeside Dr, , Applicant seeks to remove trees in buffer zone of Cranberry Pond. RDA # 2018-11  Unanimous vote for a negative determination. Approved. Tree removal in Buffer Zone of Cranberry Pond
  6.  Joanne Dickinson, 165 Lands End Dr., Applicant seeks to remove trees in the buffer zone of Otis Reservoir. RDA # 2018-12  Unanimous vote for a negative determination.Approved. Remove 3 trees in buffer zone of Otis Reservoir. Replant with 2 trees in place of Big Maple, and two other smaller trees in place of two others. Denial of one tree.
  7. Emergency certification signed for Ed Deming, DPW for culvert on Jeff Miller Rd
