Pursuant to Chapter 131, Section 40 MGL, the Tolland Conservation Commission held public hearings May 8, 2018 beginning at 3:00 PM at Tolland Town Hall, 241 West Granville Rd, Tolland, MA

HEARINGS began at 3:00 PM- RDA- Submitted by Friends of Dance New England of 1266 East Otis Road. Applicant seeks to remove large rocks in meadow, install a power pole and take down 8 trees within the buffer zone of wetlands. RDA 2018-04. Unanimous decision for negative determination. Valerie and Dave did site visit with Mr. Lyons and saw all areas of work. No evidence of impact on environment. Straw waddles prescribed for certain areas to prevent erosion.
- RDA- Submitted by Jean Armitage of 55 Lakeside Drive. Applicant seeks to remove 4 trees in the buffer zone of Cranberry Pond. RDA 2018-05. Unanimous decision for negative determination. Alan did site visit and shared pictures. Removal of trees which are damaged willhelp other vegetation protect lake better.
- Amended NOI- (306-0070) Submitted by David Dirico of 119 Lands End Drive. Applicant seeks to add a deck to an existing recently built cottage. Unanimous decision to approve amendment. Details of work for the amendment are listed in document prepared by Cold Spring Environmental Consultants.
