Pursuant to Chapter 131, Section 40 MGL, the Tolland Conservation Commission held public hearings February 13, 2018 beginning at 3:00 PM at Tolland Town Hall, 241 West Granville Rd, Tolland, MA
The listing of matters, are those reasonably anticipated by the Chair, which may be discussed at the meeting. Not all items listed may in fact be discussed and other items not listed may also be brought up for discussion to the extent permitted by law

HEARINGS began 2:57 P.M.
NOI- Submitted by Larry and Joyce Marion of 113 Lands End Drive on Otis reservoir. Applicants seek to tear down existing house and rebuild one family dwelling. Unanimously approved. No tree work is involved in this approval. Builders to follow plan as shown at meeting. Straw waddles to be placed between construction and the reservoir.
RDA- Submitted by Pamela White and Wendy Brunet of 83 Lands End Drive. . Applicants seek to remove damaged trees near Otis Reservoir. RDA # 2018-01 Unanimous vote for a negative determination..
Four trees in the buffer Zone were approved to be taken down without use of heavy equipment on the property. Stumps may be ground and chips removed and planted into grass to prevent erosion

Other Business: Jon Lynes, representing Timber Trails camp, showed plan of camp area and proposed work to be done. Proposed project impact can be determined with an RDA after delineation map is prepared.
