MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – October 2, 2023 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Steven DellaGiustina, Patrick Barrett and Ed Deming
Also Present: Douglas Dreyer, Patrick Storey, James Deming, Jack Alia, Steve Carrington
and Kate Donovan
Classification Hearing: The Board unanimously approved one tax rate amongst the four property classes for FY2024.
The Board of Selectmen unanimously appointed Douglas Dreyer, Jr as Tolland Plumbing Inspector.
The Board of Selectmen unanimously appointed Kirk Crochiere to the Cemetery Committee.
Kate informed the Select Board that the Transfer Station Compactor is not operating and is in need of replacement. An open container will be used until a compactor is either purchased or rented. Kate will get quotes for both options.
Jim Deming informed the board that a public hearing has been scheduled for October 17th to discuss additional panels being installed on the solar array located on Clubhouse Rd.
