Summer work by Tolland DPW

The Tolland DPW has been working on grading and rolling all dirt roads.
We have also started the summer road side mowing and the ditching on Harvey Mountain Road and Club House Road to prepare for new pavement. On July 19th the reclaiming is scheduled to begin and August 2nd is the scheduled date to begin paving. While this work is being done everyone should expect delays on these roads.
There is a tree company working in Town to remove many of the dead trees along the roadside as well as pick up the downed trees on the roadside.
On 7-8-2021 someone lost some trash along Rt. 57 near the PSC, I would like to thank the gentleman that was out for a bike ride for picking up the trash.
