Listing of Upcoming Events Sponsored by the Tolland Cultural Council.

The following is a current list of scheduled events sponsored by the Tolland Cultural Council. More formal announcements will be posted as we near the event. This is just so you can mark your calendars!!

 

6/25/2022 – Beginning Stenciling for all ages with Ann Fazi. To be held at the Public Safety Complex from 1:00-2:00pm. Stenciling is an art form that allows all ages to be creative without being artistic.  It allows expression via color, spatial presentation, and enhancement of the basic stencil.  It is fun and easy to master even for kids. Anyone under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear clothes that can get messy. Space limited to 20 people. Sign up by calling the Library at 413-258-4201. 6/26/2022 – Afternoon Concert on the Green in honor of Eric Munson JR. Come join us in celebrating Eric R Munson Jr upon his retirement. Eric has been working in service to the town of Tolland since 1974. We thought a party is called for. Starting at noon, hamburgers and hotdogs will be grilled. Please bring your own beverages and seating.  A brief presentation in honor of Eric will take place followed by a performance by the New England Swing Orchestra at 1:00pm.

 

6/30/2022 – Pastel class with Gregory Maichack. At the Public Safety Complex from 6:00-8:00pm. Greg will be walking us through creating a jellyfish in his relaxed, informative and fun way. No experience needed. Space limited to 12 people. Sign up by calling the Library at 413-258-4201. Leave a name and number.

 

8/13/2022 – Concert on the Green with the Blues Brothers Briefcase Concert from 6:00-8:00pm. Bring your dinner picnic, chairs and blanket and enjoy the show. This is always a good time.

 

8/20/2022 – STEM class with Ann Fazi. She will be teaching us about fluids and pressure. This has to do with everything from the human body to weather. She will teach us the basic principles and how they apply to our everyday lives. Space limited to 20 people. Sign up by calling the Library at 413-258-4201. Leave a name and number.

 

9/22/2022 - Pastel class with Gregory Maichack. At the Public Safety Complex from 6:00-8:00pm. This time Greg will teach us to create a pastel painting of a rose. What a nice way to end the summer.
