Broadband Update from the Annual Town Meeting

Broadband Update 5-10-21/ Network completion estimate is 12-14 months. We are in the make ready phase, meaning Verizon and Eversource have to "make their poles ready" to receive an additional cable attachment. Comcast has received all make ready estimates from Verizon and this work will begin shortly. Eversource make ready estimates are set to be completed by May 21st and their work will begin shortly after. During the make ready process, some of Comcast's work (Network Design, Schoolhouse Road) is done in parallel with the make ready work to be able to start attaching cable as soon as make ready is complete. The installation of underground conduit on Schoolhouse road is nearly complete with about 1000 feet left.
