Septic System Inspections
Beware of Title 5 inspectors who offer to arrange a repair. Insist on getting a list of contractors to do the repair.
If one is not provided by your inspector consult this page or call the Health Agent for a list of approved septic system inspectors, planners and installers.
Ground water determinations are made using Soil Evaluations. If the septic inspector is not a soil evaluator, a soil evaluator will have to be provided by the inspector. Soil Evaluation Form 11 Soil Log should be included in the report. Title 5 inspections are witnessed by a Health Agent for the town.
