ORDER of BUSINESS:

Call to Order at 9:10 AM

Attendance: Jean Armitage, Ruth Buchanan, Mira Munson, Ann Skibski, David Spidal, Jennifer Clark, Patrick Storey

Review of Minutes –Jan. 14, 2019: The minutes were approved with Jen and Pat abstaining

Treasurers Report & Budget Update : The attached report was unanimously approved.

Communications – A letter from the Sara Gillet fund noted that proposals for grants are due soon. We will aply for a grant to perform a survey of Tolland Seniors.

Upcoming Events

Monthly Lunches – Restart month to be determined in March – Having a Lottery tree was suggested for either the dinner or lunches.

Spring Dinner – June 6 – Envelopes for May mailing to be stuffed at April meeting

Old Business

It was suggested that we will use the PSC for a cooling center during heat waves.

Transportation – 4 rides

Birthday Cards – 14 cards sent

Outreach Worker – Report attached. Baystate said they cover Tolland. Home Care would like to set up a booth at the steak roast.

Tax Work-off program – Status with Selectmen – The adoption of this program requires a vote at Town Meeting.

Service Provider Reference list for seniors – In Process

Porchlight Service levels. A motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed that a letter be sent to the Selectmen suggesting we no longer fund Porchlight because they don’t deliver services well to Tolland. Pat will send.

New Business

Approval of Budget to Town – Dave has submitted our request for level funding to the Selectmen.
