Funding for our scholarships comes from our Annual Spring Campaign, the Rock-A-Thon, Harvest Fair, donations from the Granville Village School Dress Down Days as well as from our endowments. Endowment monies are used to supplement each year’s Annual Appeal results so more funds can be made available to recipients. Currently there are five endowment funds in operation with an additional two to have funds available in the 2011-2012 school year. The Dorothy M. Miller Fund was started over 30 years ago. It was followed by the Walter A. and Katherine E. Phelon Fund. The 1st. Lt. Travis Fuller Memorial Scholarship Fund was created five years ago, the Jane and Stuart Watson Fund was created by Watson family members to honor their parents in 2006 and the Everett O. and Miriam T.
Rockwell Fund was established by retired Granville Village School principal, Everett Rockwell, and his wife in 2007. Look for information in the near future announcing our two new endowment fund scholarships.
We would like to once again thank all who have donated to the Granville Tolland Citizens’ Scholarship Foundation. Your generosity goes a long way toward helping our recipients achieve their higher education goals and ambitions.
Congratulations and best of luck to our 2010-2011 Scholarship Recipients!
