Repairs
Fire Damage
$300 or less in damages: Permit required. No fee.
$301 to $2000 or more in damages $50
$2001 and more in damages: $100
Re-roofing (any type): $10
Wind or Storm Damage ($1000 or more in damages): $50
Structural Changes Require Permits: Ordinary repairs to a building or structure may be made without application or notice to the Building Department, but such repairs shall not include the cutting away of any wall, partition or portion thereof, the removal or cutting of any structural beam or bearing support, or the removal or change of any required means of egress, or re-arrangement of parts of a structure affecting the exit way requirement; nor shall ordinary repairs include additions to, alteration of, replacement or relocation of any standpipe, water supply, sewer, drainage, drain leaders, gas or waste vents or similar piping, electric wiring, mechanical or plumbing, or any work affecting public health or general safety.
Demolition
Removal of any structures: $.05 per sq. foot ($50 minimum)
